Superpowered Beatdowns

Postby killa-bunnah » Wed Sep 11, 2013 6:57 pm

If you guys haven't already checked out infinityadvanced Marvel topic yet, I suggest you do so!
But after discussing the differences between Marvel and DC, I thought it'd be an awesome idea for us to compare the mightiest heroes and most despicable villains in a series of match ups that can be suggested by anyone
Specific iterations of certain characters can be suggested, for example World War Hulk vs Godfall Superman
I'd love to see what you guys think about who would win between what hopefully turns out to be a wide variety of match ups from the worlds of Mrvel and DC!
So, I'd like to start the topic off with, what in my mind, is a tough one:

The lean, green, fighting machine, that is: The Hulk
VS
The destroyer of the Man Of Steel, himself: Doomsday
BEGIN!
P.S (In my opinion, Doomsday takes this, DC FTW , but after a very long and difficult fight, as Doomsday is incredibly adaptable)

Not a big fan of The Hulk and I don't even know Doomsday... So yeah... Hard one for me.

Doomsday can totally win, he took down the JLA in a fight rather quickly at one point in the comics and he has the ability to come back to life due to regeneration. He always learns what his enemies technique is and adapts. Hulk only relies on his strength all the time.
Doomsday.
:D I love geeking out about these matches.

I once saw a scene in the Hulk comic where all his skin was ripped off and half his muscles.
He was almost a walking skeleton.
And he still had enough strength to knock the guy (Vector) who was hitting him with the death ray flying!

2 minutes later, he's regenerated everything that was torn off.
So that kind of regenerative ability would be hard to beat.

And it depends on what Hulk you are dealing with.
The one in the above scenario was Genius Hulk, the one who had the personality and memories of Bruce Banner intact.
The comic is full of him beating up the bad guys with the most deadly weapon of all........intelligence!

Mmmm... I think he was talking about the original. Which one Killahbunnah?
For both enemies they have the same regenrative ability. :D
Man, this is a hard one.
I think it may come down to the amount of rounds as well.

Doomsday is potentially limitless...as is Hulk, but Doomsday destroyed Superman in a fight...I'd say Doomsday takes this. I mean the angrier Hulk gets, the stronger he gets, the more Doomsday gets adapt to the hits. This is awesome

Hulk was taken down by a god, but he did not defeat his dominator.
Doomsday killed superman.
Looks matched up enough.
