Is War Machine ever going to be a Disney Infinity figure?

Postby Tilarta » Thu Dec 24, 2015 12:40 am

I am looking for a game that has a playable War Machine.
But I do not know of any game where he is playable.

I am wondering if there is any possibly, no matter how remote, that War Machine will be a playable figure/character in Disney Infinity?

He's playable in Lego Marvel Superheroes, I believe.

Oh yes, I had forgotten about that game.
I'm still uncertain if I want to play it, the one Lego game I tried was amusing, but not great.

If there is any LEGO game you should buy, it is LEGO Marvel Superheroes. It is an amazing game.
Although you could wait for the sequel to LEGO Marvel Superheroes, which comes out in January.

I have tried it, but while it has it's merits, it isn't something I enjoy completely.
Plus, War Machine wasn't unlocked until the very end of the game, after all the story missions were done!

Also, I was disappointed with all the bonus characters, there was no Laura (X-23), Mercury or Darkhawk.

Can't imagine why they wouldn't. Sure he's similar to Iron Man but I think it would still sell well, especially with Civil War coming out soon. Though I'd take Winter Soldier over him.

Lego Marvel Superheroes or Lego Marvel's Avengers?

In the newest version Rhodey was introduced during the Age of Ultron right before Ultron pops up sorry if I spoiled that but it was in one of the trailers for the movie after all!

Well if Yondu can why not War Machine or White Tiger for that matter?

Costume change disc to Iron Man might help but how many left to go?

I am quick to debunk the opinion that War Machine is just another version of Iron Man.
While there are some similarities, if you really took the time to study the War Machine armor specs, it would soon become apparent that War Machine is nothing like Iron Man.
The basic principle is that War Machine was designed for absolute destruction, he is the guy you send when you need just one person to win a war.

Lego Marvel Superheroes.
But after trying that game and Lego Dimensions, I got frustrated with what I call the "mandatory character" feature.
Basically, I tried to play with certain characters who were not the default ones and it doesn't take long for a puzzle to appear that forces me to change the characters I was using back to the defaults.
With Lego Dimensions, I eventually got so irked with the only thing my selected characters could do was run to the next puzzle and then get swapped for one of the defaults, I stopped using the non-defaults at all.

That is why I won't be playing any more Lego games, I found that kind of gameplay so tiresome, I don't want to experience any more of it.
