What's your opinion on small exclusive content?

When I say "small exclusive content", I mean content that is locked behind some hard to get item, but with the content itself being rather small or trivial.

The content that fits this criteria in the game right now would be the MagicBand, Oceaneer Band and King Mickey power disc.

Like, are you okay with certain exclusive groups (People with a MagicBand, people who have gone on a Disney Cruise and D23 attendees specifically) being given small bonuses or do you feel that all content should be available to the general public regardless?

i am not a fan of in game content that is locked away from players, especially in a game who's intended audience is children.

I think locking content away makes sense but I think it should be more "timed" ... Ie magic band content unlocks for all in the next game, ... Collecting always features some type of exclusives but infinity hasn't been positioned in that spot.

I wouldn't mind a power disc pack or figure being exclusive to a store or location like the parks for a limited time, a month or 3 months max.

I won't lie and say I don't like how the King Mickey disc was handled, the disc is fine, but it shouldn't have been on all our screens ... If it's a timed exclusive or maybe we get it as a figure in 4.0 is a way around it,

but Disney needs to be more open about how these exclusives work. If the light Fx figures are store specific for 30'days, state it. Don't hide the info...

Sucks. They could make more money selling King Mickey power discs instead of upsetting their players.

^ @heriff Woody ... Then you're playing the wrong game (as am I because I'm not a huge fan of it lol).

I don't mind as long as it is easily available to everybody (i.e. The magic band is available through the Disney site and all figures/discs are readily available, the only one that's not is king Mickey so far)

I don't mind the bands as much as friends can share, or you can buy a band online. The hoop jumping is still "meh".

The King Mickey disc was horribly handled, and I'm not at all happy about it.

I love DI, but they make some extremely questionable decisions in the name of "marketing".

"Trongate", store/system exclusives, and now King Mickey were all poorly announced and run.

Not sure if this is pertinent, but I hate store exclusives.
*Start rant
Target doesn't exist in Canada anymore so they should, at the minimum, make a deal with a store that does exist. But even then, I don't see why this is profitable for anybody. Yes, they try to get people in their store to buy other stuff, but I won't because I need to go to 6 of them and don't have time to shop in those 6 stores.

*/end rant!

Sorry! :P

Do we count Boba Fett as exclusive DLC, at least for the time being?
