How to do Anna grapple wall climb?

In one of the preview videos for Anna, I see her using her grappling hook to wall climb, first hitting one wall, then turning back to the other wall and using it again:



The relevant action starts at 25 seconds.

I've tried it a little, but can't work out how to get Anna to turn and grapple without falling back down.

Does anyone know how to do this?
