unable to Game Record XBOX One

hello every time I try to use Game DVR in the snapapp to record a boss fight or an event the Disney infinity base becomes disconnected. has anyone else experienced this? there are so many game recordings and clips out there it has got to be something I am doing wrong

I used it a few times with no issues (however I didn't use while doing a boss fight).

Ps4 seems to work flawless from what I can see online.

The best method is an external capture device, personally I use the elegato hd60 works perfectly.

I have had this problem with Twitch. To get around it, I start the Twitch stream them load the level.

1. Start DI but DO NOT start a level.
2. Start Twitch and stream
3. Switch back over to DI and load your level.
4. Play
5. Switch back to Twitch to end the stream.

Try these steps with Game DVR and see if that works.

Or just archive your Twitch broadcasts and use them as a way to record your gameplay.

^ I figured there was a reason they specifically called out the game dvr portion. Maybe they have an aversion to Twitch

I've found the Xbox One recording system to be terrible compared to the PS4 which is so easy... I've had to use Twitch as the best way but its not amazing

IT NEVER Occurred to me TO USE TWITCH to record. I thought it was just live streaming. I am usually the one watching someone else live stream.

YES GameDVR is BROken as far DIs Infinity goes.

No problem. Just set up your twitch account to archive to youtube if you haven't already. That way your videos won't expire after two weeks.
