Marvel Battlegrounds Story Mode Question

Hey everyone,

I just started the story mode and I've been playing a mission a day because I want it to last long enough to make my purchase worth it. My question is: Is the Story mode like a Smash Bros' Classic Mode, where you can play it many times to level up characters or to get different endings (à la Injustice)?

Yes you can, but the different endings is more a little paragraph about the whereabouts of the character after the end of the playset. Nothing very exciting. You can get experience points, but to level characters you would have to use the experience bank.
